Restaurant Sühring

Contemporary German cuisine set in a former diplomatic residence in the leafy Sathorn district. The project of twin brothers Thomas and Mathias Sühring combines technical precision with emotional delicacy, reworking Thai ingredients through the culinary heritage of their native Germany — from the Brotzeit tradition to home preserving, skills they learned in childhood on their grandmother’s farm. Schnapps, European horseradish and Rhineland blood sausage are seamlessly paired with local seafood and Asian spices, while eggnog is prepared according to an old family recipe, enriched with Thai rum. Alongside the à la carte menu, Sühring offers two tasting menus, both of which are best accompanied by a carefully curated pairing of outstanding German and Alsatian wines.
