An authentic Thai restaurant housed in a historic golden-teak mansion on Surawong Road — hence the name, which translates as «Golden House». Inside are antique furnishings, cool shadows and hushed calm; outside, a pool and loungers set within a garden miraculously preserved amid surrounding skyscrapers. Once owned by a herbalist physician, the house lends its legacy to a menu rich in aromatic and medicinal herbs, used in salads, sauces, marinades and curry pastes.
