VEA stands for «Vicky and Antonio.» In 2016, chef Vicky Cheng and bartender Antonio Lai introduced one of Hong Kong’s most ambitious culinary concepts, uniting Chinese and French cuisines with progressive contemporary mixology. Entering its tenth year with its original ownership intact—a rarity in itself—VEA has become a defining gastronomic institution, actively encouraging a new generation of Hong Kong chefs to engage in deeply personal and creative reinterpretations of their culinary heritage.
