Restaurant Somm

A stunning wine library (over 1,600 labels from around the world) and a French neo-bistro at the Mandarin Oriental, relaunched in late 2025 after a renovation and with a refreshed menu. The culinary direction is now led by Chef Jason Wolfe (under the guidance of the great Richard Ekkebus), who previously spent several years working under Shane Osborn in the kitchen of the groundbreaking brasserie Arcane.

Among other welcome news is the return of the legendary gargantuan brunches, where signature French toast with sea urchin and Hokkaido scallops with beurre blanc are still served alongside an exceptional wine free-flow.
